Beautiful stretch of wild coastline with an interesting light house. A nice stopover while travelling the Catlins. We were lucky to see a sea lion.
There are good photo opportunities of the lighthouse and the coastline and the chance of getting to see a seal. There is also a lot of interesting information regarding the history of the area.

It was nice to visit if you’re passing through ! I wouldn’t go out of my way to see it. It’s wheelchair friendly to get to the lighthouse. You get a nice view of the ocean and there is some history to read about. There are bathrooms to use there as well.
