Visited Bunker Bay for an afternoon of beach walking and nature watching at the amazing Bunker Bay region. We stayed at Ramada Dunsborough, showing our daughter-see.in-law the beautiful southwest. This spot is a must

I have visited a few beaches around the world, so its a tough call but I have to say that this is probably the most beautiful, scenic beach that I have ever visited. Turquoise water, white sand and not another soul to be seen. Definitely worth a few hours.

Bunkers Bay TA
This is a fantastic little private bay with a free car park just down the hill from the lighthouse. You have to climb around a few rocks to get to some decent sand but it is so sheltered and gorgeous and quiet – we saw hardly anyone here all afternoon – apart from the visiting dolphin that is! He popped up very lazily, so close to the shore and just swam around for about ten minutes before going on his way – what a treat. This is a lovely little beach – I wouldn’t necessarily say suitable for families though with young children.
