Great place, food, staff, facilities. Unfortunately poor WiFi means if you want to watch live sport, this is NOT the place for you as all their screens rely on it. Shame considering that’s its a sports club

We booked it from one day to the other. Our idea was to rent a little house with a fireplace, but when my sporty kids saw this one, they begged me to book this one. We didn't regret it. We got a great deal: 2 nights. 3 adults + 2 kids. Breakfast included: 165€. All the services are included, although, if you want to play tennis or squash, and didn't bring your racquets, you have to pay 2,5€.
We went in mid december, so we used the indoor heated pool, which was very nice and warm: 30º. Remember to bring your swimming cap, or you'll have to buy one. They lend you tiny towels, so it's better to bring your own. Jacuzzi 33º, although it felt like more. Outdoor pool: 12º.
The staff is very nice. We had some problems with our booking. On the page it said that breakfast was included, but not on the voucher. When we told the receptionist about it, she said that we shouldn't worry. That she would talk with the manager. We talked with Expedia as well, and they send an email to the hotel, saying that there had been a mistake. So no fuss, no drama. Otherwise, the price for breakfast is 8€. We wouldn't have wanted to pay that. There isn't much choice, but it's ok, if it's included. There are 2 kinds of muffins, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, different kinds of bread, 4 kinds of cereals, ham, 1 kind of cheese, jams, yogurts, fruits, tea, cocoa, coffee, applejuice, orangejuice (it looked like it was freshly squeezed, but it tasted a bit funny. Like it was a blend. And water, which really tasted bad.
There is one person who says in his opinion, that it's cold inside the townhouse. He is right. What he is not right about, is that it's imposible to heat up. Not at all true! As I had read that opinion, we cranked up the heating to 26º, and we had to put it down to 21º, otherwise it was to hot.
Everything was nice and clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Although there was no scourer, so we bought one.
The sauna is ok, as well as the Turkish bath.
We had a great time, and can only recommend it. Although, if there had been a suggestion box, my kids would have liked a basketball court.

Room Tip: 401 is great. Right by the entrance. As it is at the beginning of the row, you have more garden space.

We were there as part of the walking football tournament and cannot fault Brown's in any way. Superb facilities and organisation, ok food not Michelin starred but that's not why we were there. Staff were friendly and efficient rooms clean and comfortable.

Room Tip: Use air con at night as it gets so hot

A large group of us (16) attended a Walking Football Tournament. We had to stay at a neighbouring hotel but ate at Browns. The tournament was very well organised and was great fun to participate in. The catering by its nature was always going to be a challenge given that there were over 150 participating. I think they did a reasonable job of this given the circumstances. The catering staff worked long hours and exceptionally hard in 25+oC.
