Enjoyed a delicious and lazy lunch at purobeach...love the open.and airy decor of the restaurant, all white and contemporary....very chic

Noticed some of the other reviews were negative about the service...not so for us...we had great service from a young, Pretty blonde server ( sorry to forget her name )
We enjoyed salads, which were fresh and enourmous, chicken quesadillas, delicious ..and fruit plates...gorgeous
A lovely laid back atmosphere and some old school Ibiza music...it was fabulous

Living in Vilamoura since 4 years, this season’s waiter team (beach side restaurant) is a disaster and probably the least attentive in the entire marina area. We are normally regulars, enjoying both Puro’s beach and pool side facilities and have recently been at the beach restaurant twice with hardly any other guests around. Both times the staff just seem to ignore us. Requested ice gets forgotton, no-one comes by to ask for complementing orders lest you start waving for attention, the bill needs to be reminded about and we had to bring the bill to the counter to pay it after waiting 10 mins for someone to come by and take our money.

The ambiance is great, the food is OK-ish (while not as good as previous years) but the service level sucks - and no where near where it should be with those prices.

Purobeach used to be pricey but value for money - now it’s just pricey and disappointing, albeit in nice surroundings.

So unless you really want to pay for the surroundings and don’t mind getting served bland food with no pride being put into it, served buy unattentive staff - any other beach restaurant is a better choice until they get their act together again.

We booked Sunday Brunch as a treat for Easter Sunday, we live in the area, and are real 'foodies', what a let down this was. Dried up salads, luke warm 'hot' food, chefs at the cooking station who looked so bored and deliberately avoided eye contact with you, or made any attempt at engagement. Service was pleasant but functional and again no attempt whatsoever at engagement. Lovely decor, we know Puro Beach in Marbella and Palma, but the food experience was appalling. 30E each for limited selection, dried up luke warm food, never mind the average service. There are so many better places for Sunday lunch/Brunch for a lot less - Wildfire, Parilla, Monicas. And if you want a beach club with atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon, you cannot beat Thai Beach Club - great food, fantastic service, and a fantastic ambience. Avoid Puro Beach unless you like wasting your money.

We went to plan for lunch and a day on the beach to chill and enjoy tranquility. Had to come away. There is an air extraction system on the roof of the beautiful restaurant building which is going boom boom all the time. It is so loud it can be heard all over the hotel gardens and their beach. Talk about noise pollution.

Attended on a Friday around 1430 hrs with family group of 8 persons. Venue was very quiet and we managed to cut a deal with Anderson who looked after us. We had a few cocktails and 2 bottles of vodka. The mixtures were complimentary which was just as well with 70cl of Absolute at 130 euros a pop.
The DJ came on after 3 and was decent.
We made our own atmosphere and enjoyed the afternoon.
Can't compare with Thai Beach club experience.
