Our flight from Zurich was going to arrive late evening and we had a flight to catch the following morning. So, I needed a convenient hotel for an overnight stay and booked this hotel.

Firstly, it is not truly an airport hotel - it is a good 15 minutes drive from the airport. And if you take their courtesy coach, you may have to wait 30-40 minutes as that is the frequency of the courtesy coach.

The hotel is OK. You will find a few uncleared food trays outside some rooms. The hotel has one restaurant and it is a reasonable place to eat - we had dinner there. You will not find any restaurants nearby. There isn’t anything much nearby.

If I need a hotel near Schiphol next time, I will book Hotel Mercure or Sheraton or Hilton or CitizenM - these are either in or within 3 to 4 minutes walk of the airport

This place is a little far away from Schiphol. You have to take train or shuttle. The train station is about 0.7 miles away. There is nothing around the hotel. Hotel itself is not bad and the Club room on top floor is adequate for light snacks and such.

The hotel has a fantastic setup. The staff are very warm at the reception. The others at least say hi. The rates are worth the product being Europe. The location is also great.
However the menu is a bit limiting, there’s no swimming pool. Instead there’s a small gym and a tanning machine. If you pay for executive then there’s a lounge upstairs. However there’s no staff to man it. That can be a bit boring.
The rooms are fantastic including the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again and I propose the location especially if you ar trying to break the journey.

This hotel was a surprise in the (1) the breakfast (omelettes made to order, fresh squeezed orange juice and other fresh breakfast pastries); (2) the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas and (3) the hospitality and accommodations of the staff- we also had a pet.

Hotel is as good as any Crowne Plaza. Very disappointed with the airport shuttle service. Not very frequent and specially during morning rush hours. Arrived airport at 8PM and there was one shuttle scheduled within an hour with a car that only takes 5 passengers. Had to take a train and a 20 minutes walk to the hotel with luggage. Morning schedule every 40 minutes. Lots of idle vehicles no drivers. This is not an area to cut cost at an airport hotel location.

Had couple of issues with the room. Room lights were not functioning and iron was inoperable. Hotel never offered anything for a good gesture except an apology. Most other hotels would have offered something for the inconvenience. Will try another property next time staying around Schiphol.
