We stopped at this restaurant tonight as it looked nice and was not crowded. It has a nice decor and the servers dress in Romanesque attire. I ordered a salmon fettuccine with white sauce and my wife ordered chicken breast with white sauce. Both dishes were OK but the chicken was somewhat over cooked and was served with french fries not a pasta. Mine was OK but I wish I could have had enough salmon to actually taste the salmon. Other wise it was just fettuccine with white sauce. As I said not horrible just not anything out of the very ordinary. The servers were kind and helpful as we spoke no Spanish.

We had lunch and dinner here during our visit to Merida. Lunch was a shared salad followed by a pizza. Dinner my wife had a pizza, I had a delicious Carbonara. We had a local wine all went down very smooth. The centre opf the restaurant has a glass floor below which are the remains of what I presume was a Roman house. Well worth a vist if you are in Merida.

This was literally one of the worst meals I've ever had. I had the Galileo pizza and it was horrible. The base, which was clearly a frozen one bought from a supermarket, was rock hard and burnt around the edges, while the toppings seemed to have been dumped haphazardly in the centre. There was almost no tomato sauce and the rest of the ingredients were tasteless. My girlfriend had the lasagne, which consisted of ham and hard-boiled egg but no beef, a glutinous and grainy béchamel and a completely insipid tomato sauce. Avoid this restaurant.
