First of all, we knew that the apartment was very close to the major Roman remains and the stunning museum of Roman art. What we had not appreciated was that it was situated on a pedestrianised street with the bedrooms at the rear so very quiet at night. Next to the front door is a private garage for one car so there are no problems with either parking or the transfer of luggage. Immediately on entry there is a flight of stairs which leads into the main living area. Two bedrooms, one with an open-plan en-suite, are on a higher level up a few steps and both have good outlooks to the rear.. A further bedroom area and terrace are on the floor above . Consequently the apartment might not be well suited to the less mobile. However, for most guests, the apartment would be superb; Everything is fairly new, it is well equipped and comfortable - more like a nice home than many rentals. All the essentials, and more, for breakfast were provided and Juan C Ramon was courteous and helpful.
