Staying overnight in Jerez, our hotel recommended this restaurant. What an excellent recommendation it was. Four of us dined. I had smoked sardine fillets which we firm in texture, delicately smoked and delicious. For the main course three of us chose sole on the bone plain grilled. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and were large. One of the party could not finish. One of the best soles we had eaten anywhere . The other member chose White Sea bream. Beautifully cooked - so moist and delicate. These chefs certainly know how to cook fish.
Only one of us had a desert. With amontillado sherry to start, and a very dark complimentary sherry to end and decently priced wines in between, the bill was €140 which was a very pleasant surprise given the quality of food and service. Thoroughly recommended.

Fresh fish and seafood. Good service. Insist on your table. Watch the portions. They are good size. Monday's they are short on shellfish.

Good fish fresh, gambas, half portions, cold fino, friendly service if you chat them up a bit. If somethings not good they don't offer it. Good cooking if simple. Insist on the table you want. Decent pricing.

On a fair note the fish we ordered to share between 3 people was with 65 euro for 1.8 kg well priced and well prepared.

What doesnt work: disorganized loud moving of chairs and tables, staff argues and talks loudly, food quality is mediocre at best, steak came way underdone, the pasta they serve with almost everything was merely a mush of completely overcookes tagliatelle in a bland thick cream sauce like a puree almost. Doesnt compliment fresh seafood at all.

They offered us a dessert and we ordered ice pralines and cheesecake. The ice pralines where 5 pc of storebought mini ice and the cheesecake was dumped on a plate with cream from the can and storebought artificial strawberry puree.

Would all be fine if they wouldnt pretend to be fine dining. Reduce the prices or up your game!

Food not bad, service slow and at the servers discretion smell of drains on the terrace it really feels tat everyone save the chef has given up caring.

Deeply disappointing restaurant which needs a kick up the backside or better still a new and motivated front of house team. Wished I'd stayed at home.
