Perhaps this hotel really only should have four stars, as it's not outstanding, but it did everything well and our rooms were well-priced, so I've given it five stars based on value.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. For us, the air-conditioning worked well when the outside temperature was 32 degrees. The only odd thing was the decor, which reminds me of a 1970s North American hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean.
Besides the reasonable price, the other two things that pushed this from four to five stars was the excellent buffet breakfast and the very helpful front desk staff.
The location is good for drivers, as access is easy from the freeway and you don't have to contend with driving around or through the old town.
The hotel is a bit of a walk from the old town (about 1000 to 1200 m), but it's a pleasant walk as you walk along two main streets with many small shops, with a very nice park in the middle of one of the two streets. In the evening, these two streets are packed with shoppers and people enjoying the park.More
