We have been back to this café again and again on our frequent trips to Le Touquet and we have never been disappointed. On the contrary, the owner and her staff are always so very charming, courteous and welcoming, it is a pleasure to go back. It is quite a small café, but we are always comfortably seated, right away, usually in one of the window tables and the food is really excellent and very good value, particularly bearing in mind that this little cafe is situated in a town where a lot of restaurants are there strictly to fleece the tourists! The last time we went there, the owner recommended that we try the "set lunch", which comprised three courses and every course was even more delicious than the last! To begin, we had a super-thin and crispy pancake roll stuffed with a delicious confit of duck and served with a light and creamy carrot sauce, followed by two of the freshest and tastiest filets of sea bass either of us had ever had, followed by a pudding of your choice from a mouth-watering selection of freshly prepared, home-made French desserts in the glass cabinets of the little patisserie. The whole lunch was fantastically tasty and just amazing value! Several other diners, local residents also having lunch there, leaned across and wished us "Bon appetite!" when our food arrived. What a charming place. We will be back - again and again! It's become a sort of tradition for us to head straight to this lovely little cafe for lunch as soon as we arrive in Le Touquet and it's something we really look forward to! Highly recommended.

Perhaps best described as an upmarket cafe (or salon de the) that does (a limited selection of) lunches, this is a good place to stop, whether it's for coffee, breakfast, or lunch. They use top quality ingredients, so even a coffee or a hot chocolate is a good experience - far better than other nearby cafes. We've always found service very good and the staff have always been friendly. It's almost become an obligatory first stop on arrival in the town - it sets you up well for the day ahead.

To go back to the same establishment twice in one day for me is very unusual but it is exactly what we did here. The place is nothing to rave about, but it is welcoming and away from the hard sell from some of the corner restaurants on Rue St Jean closer to the beach. After an early tasty steak lunch we went back for afternoon tea or a café grand crème in my case. For a small establishment it is well staffed which helps with the unrushed tempo felt as a customer. Not a youthful place but the food is freshly cooked how you ask, a café atmosphere, the place is noticeably kept clean including the toilets. Certainly nothing to stop me going back for a third visit.

Ghesquiere is a remarkably nice little restaurant right in the heart of the town. Food is very good value for money, freshly prepared and creatlivly presented. Staff in this family owned business are freindly and very attentive.

We had twice breakfast at this bar / restaurant during our stay in Le Touquet. We came away impressed by the delicious coffee, the fresh baked goods, the crunchy baguettes and the several jams and honey proposed. I also tried the scrambled eggs and they were excellent as well.
This bar is rather small with a small outdoor sitting area but since this is situated right next to the street, I would recommand a table inside. There is no view of the ocean of course, but restaurants with a view are non existing in Le Touquet.
The service is efficient but not very friendly since they waitresses seem to be overworked.
All in all an excellent place to grab breakfast at a price that it lower than what you would pay in your hotel.
