Description: One of the most iconic restaurants of Le Touquet, Pérard is also known for a famous fish soup that its creator, Serge Pérard, designed in the 60s today and terrace dining for 90 adjoining a fish shop and bar oyster welcomes you with a map on which the fish is king. So great place to enjoy the seafood: all very fresh and well prepared. Besides the inevitable plateau de fruits de mer, we can specifically recommend the crawfish bisque: excellent and generously served. Menu options ranging from € 12 for children, Perard menu at 26 € (starter, main course and dessert or sorbet or coffee) and the tasting menu at 37 €.

We had a wonderful lunch chez Pérard, and I can safely say that their fish soup is the best I have ever had. Smooth, served with the perfect rouille and croûtons, the wine was beautiful, the oysters were super fresh with a great after-taste, everything was high quality. I warmly recommend both the restaurant part and the Bar à Huîtres, they are really fantastic.

We chose Perard for our evening meal on a short trip to Le Touquet as almost everyone was keen to have fish. This helped resolve an otherwise difficult decision such is the great selection of restaurants in Le Touquet. The fish soup was delicious and resulted in several refills, which were perhaps not advisable as it is also very filling. We tried two of the fixed price menus - I had the sea bass and the rest of the family a lingo? (white) fish. The fish was nicely cooked and the portions were more than large enough - leave aside following the fish soup. A request for saute potatoes was accommodated and the restaurant seemed willing to accommodate requests for slight variations. After two filling courses, the iles flotantes (again large portion) and lemon tart were perfect deserts. A bottle of Sancerre was a perfect accompaniment for an excellent meal. If you want an extensive fish menu, Perard is an excellent choice with friendly staff. Next time we will likely go elsewhere simply to try some of the other excellent choices in Le Touquet.

We visited on the 2 December our friends had dined there a couple of months earlier and said it was fabulous. We ordered an amuse bouche (anywhere else included) it didn't arrive. The fish soup was good but we were not offered the refill. But the main course (from the set menu) of fish with seasonal vegetables, we may be British but to be served fish with carrots and gravy just odd, and not enjoyable!

We bought some langoustine (about 8) and 2 crab claws.......... cost €72 - they were absolutely awful, defrosted, soggy and a tasteless disaster. It's the most unreliable place in Le Touquet! We planned a nice evening on the balcony of our hotel with champagne and some seafood nibbles to see in 2017. Seafood is in the bin - champagne (not from Perard) is amazing!
