We ussually use it for Bussines trips, and is one of the best hotels to recomend in that Area. Maybe just too short options for dinner, but the quality is excellent.
In the area iside Horsens is easy find retaurants and so is not so big problem.

The only reason that this hotel is not the worst I have stayed at, is because it is beaten by a terrible place in Manchester, with bed bugs, vomit stains on the carpet, cigarette burns in the bathroom sink and a view from the window of air conditioning units.

This was my first time in Horsens and I stayed at this hotel for a company conference. The "chef" was preparing dinner for a group of people, so the inept management decided it would be a good idea to close the restaurant and deny all other guests the opportunity to order food. We were told that we could order room service but that would take a while. After 4 people ordered room service from the extremely limited menu, the rest (of which I was one) were told that this avenue was no longer possible. This forced guests to make the trip into and unfamiliar town to find a restaurant. I didn't want to wander around searching for food, so ended up with no dinner!

The following day was a sit-down meal, although no menu had been shared prior to the event. Since I have food allergies, I requested to know the menu from the front desk. After being told she didn't know (and me telling her that was nonsense), she then admitted she did know and told me the menu. The starter was shellfish which I am allergic too, and upon revealing this, I was informed that it was basically tough luck and there were no other options.

I find this utter contempt for guests baffling and such people should not be working in a customer facing environment.

Aside from spending the entire 3 day visit in a permanent state of hunger, the comfort of the rooms is not much better. All rooms seem to have twin single beds and tiny single duvets that are barely larger than a bath towel. The mattresses are softer than cotton wool and the windows do nothing to block out the noise from passing motorists (despite being on the 4th floor).

It is not all bad though. The rooms are a decent size, reasonably clean and the shower has good pressure.

So all in all, if you fancy staying at a hotel where you will be treated like scum, shed those extra lbs you have been carrying since the summer holiday and get crippled from an ineffective mattress, this is the hotel for you.

Room Tip: Stay at a different hotel!

The hotel has a very nicely designed lobby - having a high ceiling supported by wooden poles. The rooms are recently updated and the beds were comfy.

There is a bar next to the reception and the breakfast had a wide variety of foods, from boiled eggs and deli meat to vegetables and jams.

Our checkin and checkout was quick and the service was friendly and professional. When asked for additional pillow, the receptionist offered us 4 different types to choose from in order to use the most suitable one for us.

The only negative aspect was the lack of AC during the heat wave so had to keep the windows open but still wasn’t helping much.

Nice business hotell with spacious rooms. However avoid rooms om the first floor towards the parking. Good food in restaurant and very nice breakfast. Approx 20 min walking to city center. Gym could however be better.

Upon arrival, the exterior looks like a resort for members of the communistic party in the former Soviet union.

Parking is free of charge and you can choose to park in front of the hotel or in the garage.

The lobby is very spacious and welcoming, as are the receptionists. The entire hotel/conference centre is spacious and at times you wonder if you're the only guest. I guess this depends on when you visit the hotel and I'm sure it can be busy at times.

The style of the hotel is not luxurious, more like sparse and simple, but still comfortable for the eye. It has been around for a while, but since Danes are good at design and have a sense of interiors the hotel seems unaffected of changes in fashion.

The room and bathroom (two washbasins and a shower) were also spacious and clean. But, the bathroom could need a touch-up, it felt a bit outdated.

The beds were very comfortable and you have the opportunity to choose between six different pillows if you like. Also, it is very quiet and the room has a balcony too.

There are a number of international TV channels and the resolution of the screen is really good. Wi-Fi works perfect.

The breakfast is good, even though I missed a few things. Also, the way the breakfast is scattered might have an impact of that feeling.

The city centre of Horsens is not in walking distance from the hotel.

Yes, I would definitely come back to this hotel. You get a lot of hotel for the money.
