Worst rental experience I have ever had. Beach Vacations staff is completely unfamiliar with Maisons-Sur-Mer; each time I called I had to spell it for them and wait for the person on the phone or in person to look it up. At check-in, after verifying with the supervisor on duty, the agent said we needed no key. But, of course we did - but only to get into the building or down to the beach. Could they deliver it? Oh, no, they were too busy taking care of emergency maintenance - an oxymoron if ever there was one. The issues we had with the unit - nasty MOLD AND MILDEW in both bathrooms, curtains that didn't work and dirty, glass top tables still smudge with the last renters meals? Yeah, they sent ladies to hand wash our drinking glasses. Really. The building maintenance guys showed up after 48 hours and 2nd call and got the curtains to "close" but didn't fix the were huge gaps where they were dangling unattached from the rod in both the secondary bedroom and the living room. And we haven't even started on the minor issues - the curtains are sheer and the sun wakes you at 6 AM, the wallpaper is peeling, the sheets aren't even Motel 6 quality, the washer will keep you awake, the pipes make a huge racket at average temps, and the cabinet doors are beginning to sag in the kitchen. Lovely décor in a unit someone must have cared about once upon a time.
