We went over to Pella on the boat from Orta San Giulio and saw this restaurant by the boat ramp.
We had the day’s set menu choices of Orrechiette with Broccoli, Spaghetti with Tomato and Olives, Vitello Tonnato and Beef Roll stuffed with Ham and Egg.
All dishes were delicious, appeared simple but had great depth of flavour and high quality ingredients. The host was a master of the art of hospitality, the staff professional and the price very good value. We paid a total of 34 Euros for two courses each, a quarter litre of wine, water and bread. Pella is very pretty and not at all touristy. This restaurant makes the trip over extra-special.
