Lovely,well-equipped cottage owned and managed by a pleasant, helpful couple. Lots of lovely walks nearby and a village shop just down the road selling home-made produce that we made full use of (I can heartily recommend the quiches and cakes).
We hope to return one day when we can do a little more (this was due to covid restrictions on places we wanted to visit and not the fault of anyone)!
The Cottage is very quaint and cosy perfect for 2 people. It is situated in the quiet village of Chadlington, which has a local pub the Tite Inn which has good food and friendly staff. We also tried Café de la post which does great pizza on a Saturday night, you can eat in or have a take away. The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean. Janice the owner and her husband were very friendly, and on hand if you needed any help or information. Chadlington is a good base to explore the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire. We enjoyed visiting The Rollright Stones, The Slaughters, Burford, Chastleton House, Waddlesdon Manor, Stowe Gardens, and Minster Lovell Hall & Dovecote.
Good location and well equiped. Helpfull hosts and nice pub nearby. If i'm back in the region would book again.
Recently back from a delightful stay in Stable Cottage. It is set in a lovely quiet village location, with the bonus of two shops and a great pub. The garden is pretty and peaceful, the cottage is quaint but perfect for the two of us, with all amenities you could require.
A cracking base for a Cotswolds break, and the hosts are friendly and helpful.
Will recommend to friends and family without hesitation.
Perfect location to explore the countryside. Wells, Oxford, London. We had a car, so easy train connections to London. Really well equipped little house, local shop/s have all you need to self-cater. Nice local pub. Loved it.
