My boyfriend and I stayed in the cottage for a romantic holiday away from it all, and we were able to enjoy some lovely walks around the village and surrounding area. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable and the owners helpful and friendly. Would most definitely come again and recommend.

The owner is very pleasant and a lot of thought has been given to make the property a pleasant holiday destination.
A rating of 5 would be deserved for this property, based on the cleanliness and the high quality of the kitchen with its modern equipment/utensils; the rich source of walking in the area, and a very good local pub/restaurant within easy walking distance of the property.
However the over generous 8ft high ceiling downstairs, makes the height of the rooms upstairs, which are in the roof space, quite low. This is partly why it has been impossible for the owner to provide a high quality shower room and bedroom.
The heating in the property, except perhaps for the shower room, would be more than adequate in the coldest of Winters. Hot water is excellent.
The Old Stable is situated close to the two village shops, and walking is quite easily available from the property. A lot of effort has been given to provide plenty of ideas for walking and excursions from the village - this information was much appreciated.

We had a lovely Christmas stay in El Establo Cottage. It was a very relaxing holiday away from the city and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. The cottage was just what we needed and was beautifully decorated! We will definitely be coming back.
The village is in a perfect location for long country walks with our dash-hound Frosty and don't forget to stop by at the local pub or the village café.
