When we arrived we were met and greeted by the owner, Eduardo. He was charming and knowledgable about the property and the locale. The Villa is on two floors, each with a full bathroom. Downstairs are the two bedrooms and upstairs the kithen / lounge area with access to a large balcony. Everything is almost new and very well decorated. The view from the balcony is very, very good - while we were there filming was taking place for Montalbano - which was a bonus, and not intrusive. Two good sandy beaches are within a skimming stone distance and are seperated by the small marina - always a point of interest. There are various local restaurants supplying good locale Sicillian fare. I wish we could have stayed for longer as it would make a good base to explore further afield.
