The Hall provides a fascinating history about the work and life of the King and his family and the development they have overseen particularly around this area of Thailand. Very modern styling, using video, photos and artefacts and some interactive facilities

A museum which pays tribute to the present king of Thailand as well as other royal family members, such as the princess mother. The focus is on the contribution of the royals to the development and modernization of Thailand in general, and also the district of Doi Tung in specific. It is good to know that the members of the royal family are actually leaders who work to change Thailand to be a better nation.

Truly excellent and not only am I inspired but I have great respect for the King's Mother. Spent about 2 hours reading and taking pictures.

Do not miss this museum. It's a 'must visit' when in Chiangrai. It's about 50km away from the city.

The Hall of Inspiration is almost as uninspiring as East Tilbury - anyone from Essex, UK will understand. Made up of several hundred photos in small rooms that light up as you walk in - one's first, middle and last inspiration is to leave as quickly as possible. If interested in the royal family, then this is the place for you though ...

This exhibition is very well-thought out and well-organized. The story of the past royals up to the present day king is told in an extremely engaging way. As one goes through the various exhibits, the story on the cards, the sayings of the King, one cannot help but get inspired by the high standards of how the royals were brought up. It's no wonder the past and current royals are highly esteemed by the Thai people. The extend of how they brought up the nation of Thai and the commitment and hard work is highly admirable. I left the Hall of Inspiration full of admiration for them and inspired by the virtuous sayings of the King.

Do not miss this!!
