You can get to this via the old pearl beach/patonga track, or (as most would do) from the main road. Either entry point involves a walk. The easiest of which is from the carpark (ie, not from pearl beach or patonga!). It is a fair walk involving some stairs and slightly slippery surfaces, but it is by no means difficult.

One of the best lookouts I'be been to. So worth the 15 mins walk. The drive is very interesting. Definitely worth going back .

While the road to the lookout is dirt and not ideal for my little sports car, once we arrived at the car park it was an easy 500m walk to the lookout. The path is perfectly sealed and once you arrive, the views over Broken Bay and the Hawkesbury are breathtaking.

Worth the climb up the Great Northern Walk, views are spectacular. Take a thermos and a sandwich and sit up at the lookout for lunch.

Look up the details on WildWalks.

It is a bit of a puff up the hill then easy going. Allow a bit over an hour to walk to Pearl, allow some time for a walk on the beach or a snack at the Cafe and then return to Patonga for Lunch for a great day out.

Really feels like you are not in Sydney any more!!
