We always LOVE going to Zarephath for an intimate weekend lunch. The wine is delicious and they have won multiple awards for it so it shows! Their food is amazing as well - most things are home made by Rosie, or locally sourced from close by. We had the duck liver pate to start, roast snapper on a beetroot rice and cucumber salad, and slow cooked spiced lamb stew, served on a bed of quinoa, pomegranate and roast carrot. For dessert we shared the pannacotta, which was served with fresh mulberries from their own garden and tasted beautiful.
The mains are always filling and very reasonably priced. They were delivered to us very quickly as well, much faster than a lot of places that we have visited more recently in Albany and surrounds.
We will definitely be returning soon to see what else Rosie has concocted for her menu (which changes weekly).
I definitely recommend calling to book a spot in advance as it is getting more and more popular every month, and as it is family owned and run there are days they must inevitably be closed for business or personal reasons.

We were greeted the moment we walked in the door and seated on the veranda overlooking the lake and vineyards. The waitress took our order and while we waited for our meal, were asked to taste a variety of wines, all exceptional.
Our meal was superb as was dessert. Great hospitality service and definitely deserves a visit

We can't rave enough about going here. Rosie makes all her food with love and changes her menu weekly sourcing the ingredients from local producers to showcase the area. This is complemented by there award winning wines. The hospitality is first class. If you are in the area please go here and enjoy...recommedend plus ++...if we could give 10 stars we would... abseloute highlight of our holidays..thank you so much

Second visit, this time with friends who are not on the same diet regime as us, we all agreed, this place is just fantastic, all the food was superb , with nice flavours and little nuances.Started with some home made crackers and lovely dip of garlic. lemon ,parsley & cashews. The owners knowing we are vegan put three vegan dishes on the daily specials, something we had not expected and were delighted with.( last time we just a had a lovely off the cuff platter which was superb and that was all we were expecting this time)
Also great crema on the coffee.
Cannot say enough how much we enjoy eating here, so relaxing, with great food.
