Lovely old courtyard restaurant with bags of character and robust mountain food. We take all our visitors here for a meal but my top tip is to share as the plates are substantial. :)

I recently dined here, I have to say if you are looking for the 'hidden Italy', this is the spot to find it. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Only one thing though, the very magnanimous proprietor Rainaldo seemed to think I like disco music as he made many references to Barry White, such as 'let's go to the disco, let the music play' . A true character in a place of enormous character!

One of the most relaxing atmosphere you could find in a restaurant. Entering the old court means diving into the past both for the food and for the building! Enjoy their food especially during lazy summer nights!

Hidden in an old farm down some narrow road the courtyard is like a museum with old relics from the farm. The food is very good and I would recommend the grilled meat selection. The starter and desert courses were good too. it has a number of dining areas around the courtyard. We had some special requests on the menus and they got them right.

Hidden in the back of a village on the lago di Varese, in a former farm .. rustically but greatly and tasty decorated with an impeccable service and inspiring card/menu.
We had the soup which was very nice but almost cold .. the grilled chicken was impeccable .. their "house speciality", wooden sticks covered with meat and grilled were though very disappointing as the quality of the meat was not very high. The dessert was very good .. the house wine, even if it is subjective a bit disappointing. I will definitely go back to try to, hopefully, give a better vote, as the place would deserve it

Thank Stefano E
