We went to Isola Maggiore in October on a quite cloudy day. The restaurant was empty. We had one hour before until the ferry, we were hesitating a bit whether we should enter or not. The hunger won.
The lady reassured us that they are there only for us, one hour will be enough.
On the menu it is written that the freshness of the fish depends on the season (good to inform the clients!) and the answer to our question was that we arrived in the good season, now everything is fresh from the menu.
The fish was not just fresh, but very tasty as well. The portions, the seasoning, the tastes, everything was good.
And we reached the boat. Nice place!
