Samuels has a mortgage on the "small bar" market in the northern suburbs and unfortunately this place misses the mark.
They forgot my main meal of blue eye and "55 minutes" later apologized with a tap in the shoulder!!!
No refund no complimentary drink....customer service people!!
The interior is Stark and cold. It has no style or feel. Similar to the restaurant next door.
If Thirroul ever gets another option this place will be redundant very quickly.
I'll be back only because the options are limited or non existent.
Oh and the wait staff (which also work the restaurant, not the nice Saturday night guys) need to be warm not condescending.
It's just very unremarkable.

New owners have ruined the vibe of the place unfortunately and the decor is absolutely terrible! Once they had cool bands and a relaxed understated atmosphere...

This great bar has recently been refurbished but the friendly atmosphere and staff, excellent food,with a new tapas menu, plus the bar does a good range of cocktails, selection of wines and beers. You have the choice of enjoying yourself both indoors or outdoors.
The tables and chairs are a great improvement on the earlier edition.
Well done, we will be back.

This place has had an awesome makeover . The bar food is great and so are the staff, very friendly and helpful. I had a share plate that had stuffed zucchini flowers , mushrooms and a vege Sanchoy bow, all of it was great. A fantastic alternative than going to the pub. Plenty of seating inside and out.

Love the food, the drinks & the atmosphere.
Only minuses music is sometimes a bit too loud for conversation and the interiors are a little over done. Less is more would be good.
