Went for family holiday to Nunney, house was lovely, although not really for 8 people
only enough proper seats for 5 people in the sitting room, which were uncomtable. Kitchen very good, seating for 10 or more . Also cupboards were well equipped. Heating was a little strange as you had to ask if you wanted it higher or lower as owners regulate it from their house. Needed a tumbler dryer, as only place to dry clothes was on an airer in the kitchen, where you cook food.
Just returned from a wonderful weekend with my family at Paddington Cottage. The lovely welcoming owners left champagne (for my mums 80th birthday) wine and a home baked sponge cake for our arrival. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, charming and characterful throughout. The huge kitchen and social hub is fully equipped with everything you might need and more. Up 2 steps into the lounge with open fireplace is warm and welcoming and has a free supply of logs. The ground floor bedroom complete with walk-in shower is perfect for elderly or disabled. Upstairs are a further 3 spacious bedrooms beautifully furnished and decorated and the beds are large and extremely comfortable with sumptuously plump pillows. A second bathroom with freestanding bath and shower cubicle make it perfect for everyone. Outside an enclosed patio and social area is a very sunny spot and overlooks the owners large lawn. Very tranquil.
Paddington Cottage, very handy for both Bath and Wells is an absolute gem!
