This was a small restaurant in Tarpum Bay. It had a bar and about 8 dining tables. Nothing fancy about this at all - except the great, fresh food.
While we waited for the grouper to arrive from the fisherman, we ordered some Kalik ($4) and chicken tenders ($10). The tenders were lightly breaded and the chicken was tasty and moist. As we were finishing our appetizers, we saw the fresh grouper being delivered. We all ordered the broiled grouper ($24). The grouper was so tasty and was prepared with some onions, green and red peppers, and accompanied by a side of slightly spicy coleslaw and rice and peas or roasted potatoes.
Just an excellent tasting meal and the cook/owner and her son were super friendly. An excellent meal and great value.
