stayed here for a week and a half with a few mates. the place is perfect. great rooms, all with air con and hot showers. great pool and gardens surrounded. very easy to book and Ley the host is fantastic, sorted out everything we needed. down a nice quite laneway with other beautiful villas gives this place a very welcoming feel. would stay here again for sure.

We got the whole villa for 4 days. We came in a big family of 9 people. The villa setting really beautiful. The pool is the center of attraction. All rooms and toilets are reasonably clean. We had power supply disruption on and off, day & night during our stay. Li, the house manager did his best to minimise the power disruption. His wife, Madi is a helpful lady at the kitchen. She cleaned after I cooked for breakfast for 2days. The other 2 days, Madi prepared the breakfast. The towels need to be changed everyday. I strongly suggest the towels need to be replaced to new one as it doesnt represent the villa's image. More presentable towels!
Having a washing machine is a value added to the villa. We really had a great time at Santai Villas.

we stayed for a week.the place was clean and spacious.within walking distance of the shops and restaurants.Breakfast was served everyday which was nice but it did get a little boring with the same scrambled eggs on toast being served everyday and the coffee was sickly sweet as it was from a sachet of instant coffee,sugar and powdered milk .a couple of times we came home and the staff were hanging out in the lounge area watching the tv.they did move on but this was unsettling for the kids and isnt really what you would expect when you rent a private villa.one day when we enjoying the pool after being out all morning the hosts friends walked straight into the lounge area and took it over for an hour or so which is also something you would not expect.I would stay there again but next time i will be making it clear that is not to happen during our stay.lee the manager was always helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.he organised motorbike hire for the week and drivers for longer trips.we enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed longer.

Unfortunately all the top rated B&B’s and and homestays were fully booked in Kuta. Luckily we stumbled upon this little gem. We chose the one bedroom villa and payed 650’000 RpH which was absolutely justified. Here we had our best sleep in whole Lombok and Bali. No street or mosque noises, airconditioned and a nice hot shower.

Best of all was the staff that invited us for a drink before dinner, and we met them later on the beach at a small bar where we had some great conversations about all kinds of things.

Highly recommended!
