Cullinan's in Doolin is a real gem- we stayed for one night in the room right beside the river, it was lovely, and clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great- I can recommend the pancakes! It's the perfect spot for visiting the Cliffs of Moher or the Burren, and there are some great pubs within walking distance too.

.....great food, a great welcome, humor & good service my only disappointment is high class (!) in that I hadn't booked to stay instead staying in another b & b. This B&B is also a restaurant with good local food, organic wines, in the middle of the village that is Doolin. I lovedthe organic wine, price per glass very reasonable. All wine served at the correct room temp, he had white, I in the interest of research had red. (Spanish organic yes!)
This place is very relaxed, welcoming to individuals and small groups. It’s not pub grub, it’s more than that so enjoy. It’s a place to chill out, have the chat, and enjoy food. Book!
Should you want to know about the meal we had – he had black sole, it was so good, (served with a hint of lentils that I’m still hearing about how good!) vegetables kept it company. Mine? Steak yum!
there is also the equivalant of an early bird menu (just not titled that) limited but good choices.
good food, good value for money
Only know before you go… (And I confess I didn’t’, Only heard much to my embarrassment later that owner and chef James is a well reputed fiddle player. And in this musical spot of county Clare this is good to know.

Our reservations went through fine and we informed ahead that we were going to arrive late. The guesthouse was easy to find once you turned into Doolin. Our room was comfortable and clean, has a good view of the creek behind. The owners are friendly and helpful. Had a nice and full breakfast before we head off to the islands the next morning. We were just disappointed that we weren't able to have dinner at the restaurant (it's not open on Sunday) after reading so much about it online.

I stayed one night here on a small group tour. The guest house is a little way out of the town but there is a pub and tourist office and hotel opposite. It's quite a charming place. My room was fairly small but finefor one person, and the bathroom was quite acceptable. The view I had was of the back yard and laundry area but I believe there are other rooms with views of the creek. The restaurant is famous in this area so you need reservations. We ate here one night of the two we stayed and the food was excellent and the service adequate. Breakfast was also very good. The owner seemed a little aloof but she was very busy. This is also a good location for taking the ferry to the Aran Islands.

This is the third time(03,06,2012) we were in Doolin and we were happy that our favorite room on the creek was available. It is an awesome view and the sound of the rushing water was so relaxing for sleeping. It rained the entire day, but we were exhausted after traveling around Ireland for 16 days so we enjoyed just sitting around and reading and watching the creek. We ate at Fitz's pub across the street and had a great Caesar salad w/chicken. The BB is very clean and the Eggs Benedict that James prepared the next morning were outstanding! Carol and James are excellent hosts.

Room Tip: Love the room on the creek. You do have to walk over to the main lodge for breakfast or the lounge...
