“Fantastic stay”
Reviewed 21 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

I recently stayed at Depot Road for a friends stag do, and the place was perfect. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable and all en-suite, but it is made by the huge open kitchen/living/dining room, as well as the side and rear garden. I have stayed in similar accommodation before, and often find that they are not as well equipped as they claim, or don't have some of the facilities, but Depot Road has everything and more. Also take heed of the "nitty gritty" (the guide the owner sends), it has everything you need to know! Thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

“Excellent accommodation in a surprising attractive area”
Reviewed 6 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Although set up for bikers this was a very acceptable place to stay as a family. The positives are numerous:
1) comfy beds with ensuite facilities
2) spacious living area (essential with 7 children) with well stocked kitchen
3) entertainment for the evenings - air hockey , bar football , good TV and sound system
4) drying room for the typical Welsh weather
5) excellent centre for all that Swansea and the Brecons have to offer - we have driven through this area many times on our way to Pembrokeshire or the Gower but this is a good base for a whole host of activities.
One slight moan - the cleaner turned up at 10 on the morning of departure which was both a surprise - not mentioned in on site literature and a tad early for a family with small children.

“WOW!!!!”
Reviewed 12 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

What a great week we've had! The accommodation is fantastic, really modern and funky, open plan, great for cooks, arty folk and outdoor types alike. Everything was provided, towels to turmeric to table football. There were fresh cut flowers on the huge dining table and jam/welsh cakes/beer for our first night which made for a great welcome. Don't be put off by Port Talbot, the back of the town has some lovely walks and bike trails and it's well located for the mountains, Swansea, the Gower and Cardiff. We've had a brilliant time and with four teenagers (one disabled) two adults and a dog that:s no mean feat! If you're considering this place just book it, you won't regret it!

“Fantastic place for a large group of friends - even in winter!”
Reviewed 14 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Just to say thanks for Depot Road at the weekend on behalf of the lads on my son's stag weekend. They absolutely loved the place and had a fantastic time. Younger son (who is best man) is a cycle mechanic and was also very impressed with the MTB rental place at Afan who could not have been more helpful....they rode a fairly tough trail on the Saturday in sunny weather, which even impressed the groom who lives in New Zealand and has some pretty good trails outside his back door.
Hopefully we will be able to stay again with a group of friends.....a real gem of a place, beautifully well imagined and thought out.

We booked this last minute to be close to family in Wales in between Christmas and New Year. The house is designed to be just one big social space. Cooked for 16 in a fantastically equipped kitchen, it was a joy to cook in.
The kids enjoyed the air hockey and table football (as did the adults).
This is the place to stay for a get together.
A fantastic welcome pack left for us on table, attention to detail perfect.
Thank you
