“Best Business Trip - Ever”
Reviewed 26 November 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Stayed at Depot Road on a 3 day business trip to South Wales with 2 colleagues. We wanted somewhere central to project sites we needed to visit. We usually stay in hotels but thought we would look for something which had more space and didn't rely on discussing business in bedrooms or the bar.

We were not disappointed. It was a fantastic place to stay. We were out and about in the Brecons and surrounds, visiting conservation areas and nature reserves (amazing places themselves) and were so glad to have Depot Road to return to at the end of the day. It was perfect. We made full use of the drying room for wet boots and coats, and it was brilliant to go through paperwork and project files at the enormous table.

Not only was the accommodation first class, the beds comfy and the whole place have everything we could ever need - it was far cheaper than staying at the cheapest hotel.

We would love for there to be more places like Depot Road - maybe in Cumbria next? We have lots of projects we need to visit there too

“THE place to stay for Afan Mountain Biking”
Reviewed 23 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

You will not believe this place until you see it - the owners have thought of everything. Open place kitchen (with all mod-cons and appliances), dining and living area, with flat-screen TV, excellent Wi-Fi, log burner, high quality table football, heated flagstone floor, en-suite wet room showers to each bedroom, bike storage and drying room. Marvellous.

Even a free Welsh beer to welcome you!

“If carlsberg did mountain bike accommodation.”
Reviewed 2 September 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This place is so well set up it set the bench mark for all other accommodation. A luxury stop with all the mod cons. The wash room for all your dirty kit is a big plus. If you want to check out the trail centers in Wales this place is ideal.

“Perfert group accomadation”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We stayed here for a friends stag do in July, Everything in the place was a really high standard, from the sound system to BBQ, and the open plan area was a great space for eating, drinking, and socialising. The location was also great for trips to the Gower and Beacons for activities.

Would definitely recommend to other groups looking for a high standard, good value group accommodation
