“Outstanding property in wonderful location”

This property is absolutely stunning, the best we have ever stayed in. From the second we walked in the door we felt very lucky to be staying in such an outstanding holiday rental. A fabulous welcome pack awaited us, complete with milk in the fridge and biscuits to enjoy and we instantly felt relaxed. The kitchen is large and spacious, perfect for children and adults. The large kitchen table meant that family meals were sociable and just as we'd hoped. Brilliantly equipped with everything we needed. There is a utility room that housed all of our footwear and jackets etc and a washing machine, tumbledryer and fridge/freezer.

The livingroom is amazing. Three large sofas, a picture window looking out onto Luce Bay, as many books, games, DVDs and information on the local area as you could ever hope for and a lovely, warm homely feel with all of the owner's special little touches. The rest of the house does not disappoint. Four spacious bedrooms, all ensuite and with brilliant showers await. Plenty of towels and even bottles of shampoo and shower gel are there too. The top floor bathrooms also have baths, just perfect. The central heating system was very effective and so we were always cosy. It is absolutely spotless throughout.

We spent a lot of time in this property during our stay as we were so comfortable and we didn't really have any reason to leave. We enjoyed easy walks overlooking the bay and the children (and adults!) loved the quiet beach which was so clean. There are beautiful drives closeby and lots to do if you choose, such as Cocoa Bean and Cream O' Galloway. We had a lovely lunch at Gallie Craig Coffee Shop at Mull of Galloway and we enjoyed a spectacular drive there.

This property is a real gem. We feel so lucky to have stayed here and we will certainly be looking to book again very soon! A huge "Thank You!" to the owner for providing us with many happy memories. We would highly recommend it!

“Lovely Property”

I stayed at this excellent property in September with my daughter, my siblings and their partners. It is definitely the best property I have ever rented - exactly as described, if not better and the owner is charming and will do whatever she can to be helpful. The location is quiet and relaxing, right on the edge of the pebble beach front and only 15 minutes away from Galloway Forest Park, which is vast with many different sites to visit and lots of wildlife around. There are plenty of amenities and a choice of supermarkets in nearby Stranraer and Newton Stewart. We had the best Sunday Carvery ever at the Bladnock Inn, which is about 15 minutes drive away. Overall we all had a really lovely holiday and would definitely recommend it.

This house is stunning and decorated to a very high standard. Every little detail has been thought of and Helen couldn't do enough for us during our stay. We had a lovely country walk to the local pub and the scenery is stunning. The rural location of the house is second to none and the peace and quiet was idyllic.
I would definitely recommend a stay here and will definitely be going back.

Beautiful property in outstanding location.
Very clean and amenities all high standard
4 good sized bedrooms all ensuite
Helen was a pleasure to deal with and left us a lovely welcome pack
Great 3 mile walk to local pub The Cock Inn, walk by road or coastal route, coastal route is a challenge but the views were well worth it
Would love to return and can't recommend this highly enough
