Quiet street - lovely garden and comfy bed. Stayed whilst completing house sale nearby. Wine and milk kindly left for us.

Basically we only used the property for a place to sleep as we were visiting long lost friends in Saint Aubin Fosse Lauvain.
I would say the property is in a secluded part of the area of Saint Aubin which is a typical village in northern France, the property offered my wife and I all that was required for a long weekend it was clean and comfortable.

“Quiet rural setting”
Reviewed 26 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Decent sized cottage for a couple or small family with spacious garden that catches the afternoon sun and is enclosed for those bringing dogs. Bedroom and living room furniture was comfortable, kitchen and bathroom facilities of a good standard.

You will need a car to stay here as the nearest village is two miles away (bakery, epicerie, English pub) and nearest town five miles. Would recommend Mortain and Bagnoles as places to visit, but if you want a holiday with plenty to do and lots of options for eating close by, then do not come here. If you want to relax, enjoy the quiet French countryside and don't mind a bit of driving for days out then I would recommend staying here.

“A really lovely place to stay”

This house is lovely - in a very quiet, rural setting.. The bedrooms were comfortable and a decent size. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge comfortable, with a well stocked dresser full of games and books - plus Sky tv if you need it! Outside the house is a decking area which caught the sun nicely and a lovely garden with a patio area. A nice big garage if you need it and bicycles to use to cycle round the local, virtually traffic free, roads!

flies are a big problem across the french countryside in the height of summer.Especially at harvest time . In addition we are very near a farm . Closing doors and windows not only keeps the property a little cooler than outside it also keeps them out . We will have a fly screen for the main door before the 2014 season .
