A really difficult place to write review about. This is a potentially superb apartment marred by a few fixable issues. It has a great location, lovely river views, quiet (apart form the occasional noise pollution from the river pleasure craft) ample room, clean (generally) and with a pub for food and drink virtually next door. There is relatively easy access to Oxford on buses.
But then there were the niggleing things which began to annoy simply because they were all fixable. The Bathroom tiles and windows had varying degrees of black mold. Access to the shower (over bath) difficult if not dangerous for older people. The Shower Screen had been stuck to the bath leaving a very small gap between it and the hand basin. A different screen which could be at least partly opened would make all the difference. There was no hairdryer (to be found in most hotels/ b&bs). Also no vacuum cleaner, very little in terms of washing up cleaning cloths, just one overused scourer sponge on our visit. Supply of hot water to the kitchen very very poor. Most of these things already flagged up in other reviews elsewhere.
Pros did outway the cons by a long way yet the not so clean bathroom and poor situation with hot water has to incur a lower score than I would have liked.
