“Great Donegal holiday cottage”
Reviewed 30 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Cottage was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. The heating system in the cottage was excellent, lots of hot water and very comfortable at all times. I would highly recommend this cottage for a good value holiday in Donegal.

“What a fantastic place”
Reviewed 29 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed here last July for a week I was so impressed by the cottage and the kindness of Anita and John that it wasn't to long till I was back for a short stay. A few friends and myself have been back on a nos of occasions for the weekend and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The cottage is spotless it is lovely and quite not far from the beach and plenty of walks on the mountains. Would highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to get away. Roll on July to we go back for 2 weeks.

“Easter weekend away from it all with family”
Reviewed 18 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We had a lovely stay in Derryreel cottage it was absolutely beautiful. There were four of us my husband and my two teenagers plenty of space for us all. I loved sitting in the conservatory listening to music with a glass of wine looking out at the lovely views. We had the best of both worlds you are only ten minutes away from Dunfanaghy which is very busy and then you can come back to the peacefulness of Derryreel. Anita was lovely she met us at the cottage and showed us round . If you needed her for anything she would answer you straight away. Thank you Anita and John for making our Easter weekend perfect. We hope to return someday soon.

“Fantastic cottage!”
Reviewed 14 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

It's a fantastic cottage. Very spacious and very homely. We booked a weekend getaway and we were not disappointed. The views around Derryreel are breath-taking. Close to dunfanaghy and falcarragh. Great local beaches and stunning scenic drives all within 15/20 minutes. Anita and John were kind enough to prepare a folder with plenty of suggestions of things to do and see. We spent our evenings in the sun room and Anita had a fire already prepared for us which added such a homely feel. We really couldn't recommend Derryreel enough. We hope to be back very soon.

“Perfect pet-friendly, affordable Donegal sanctuary!”
Reviewed 28 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We were welcomed by Anita into a beautifully kept, spotlessly clean warm and comfortable house set in its own grounds in the townland of Derryreel. The house was spacious, well equipped and beautifully maintained. Nearby the villages of Dunfanghy and Falcarragh had plenty of interesting shops and eateries and hosted some of the most beautiful scenery Donegal has to offer, a trip round Horn Head is highly recommended! The house is quite remote which suited us perfectly and the wind can whip up quite ferociously, but that is something we loved about the place, and bear in mind we stayed in February! Altogether a wonderful weekend getaway, at a very realistic affordable price, we would definitely stay again, but house would need wi-fi to enable us to stay for longer trips.

Thank you so much for this great review, much appreciated. Sorry about the WI-FI, most of our guests do not want it so we made the decision not to install it, as guest told us a mobile dongle will do a great job , we are sorry it spoiled your stay a little.
