We just returned from a lovely 2 nights at the Falls Hotel & Spa and I couldn't recommend it enough. Our room was large and comfortable, the staff are excellent and couldn't do enough to help with any questions we had. The bar food was excellent but the breakfast was a bit disappointing. The rashers (bacon) and
sausages were tasteless which was a shame but there is a great choice of other things to choose from. The highlight for me was feeding the beautiful donkeys every day. Ennistymon town is a joy to visit with the friendliest people.

I would just like to take the opportunity to express my gratitude at the way Omar dealt with us on a recent stay. We were due to spend the weekend in your hotel back in February but due a family emergency we had to leave very early the morning after we arrived. Omar dealt with my husband and he was incredibly professional and understanding and made the reason for our early departure a little less stressful due to his empathy and overall compassion to our situation. For the little time we had there we would highly recommend this hotel. Hoping to get back to The Falls Hotel & Spa sometime in the not too distant future.

Very friendly staff, made sure everything was OK. Lovely food and a great view of the famous ennistymon falls. Nice walk around the hotel by the falls too if you fancy a walk outside. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here recently on a Thursday and Friday night through a Groupon voucher. The hotel is in a nice location overlooking the Cascades and right in the town of Ennistymon. Plenty of parking available but we parked near the spa entrance where skips were overflowing old bath tubs had been left out and it looked a bit dirty and messy. I know they are doing the hotel up and have a few signs saying that but overall first impressions weren't v good. The foyer is big and warm and the check in staff were lovely and informative. We were in a room on the first floor near the spa and it was old, tired looking and just ok. The bathroom was like something out of the 60's with one of those awful hairdryers attached to the wall. However everything was clean. Outside to get to the lifts was cold with the door to car park left open for builders and there were building materials left everywhere however As I say I think they are doing the rooms up so maybe we just got one that hadn't been touched yet. The Bar area is lovely with a great range of food and staff are great. The restaurant menu looked great too but it was very quiet with only 3 tables occupied so we ate both nights in the bar. Pool is lovely and warm with a sauna steam room and jacuzzi. There is also an outdoor hot tub with lovely views of the river but the area outside was tired with chipped tiles and the door leading out to it was filthy. Breakfast was good both a buffet which was plentiful and an A la Carte as well. Staff were attentive and there was always someone clearing asking did you want tea coffee etc. Newspapers were also available. All in all the hotel looks lovely and has some lovely areas but is tired looking in some places and our room was very tired looking. However I know the are renovating and hopefully this will apply to all rooms. I would return but only if we had a nicer room because the area around it is fab for walking, hiking, sightseeing etc

Room Tip: Ask for a newer room than those on the first floor i.e. rooms 100-108

Stayed in this lovely hotel last Sunday and Monday. The experience was all that could be asked for. Certainly at the top of the list to revisit.
Without exception the staff were pleasant and helpful and did everything they could to help make the stay memorable and enjoyable. From the moment you enter reception you can tell the quality. Large comfortable lobby with ample seating. It is currently undergoing refurbishment of the remaining rooms with the common areas already upgraded to an excellent standard. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with lovely views of the river and falls at the village. Good selection of TV channels and storage space. The bar/restaurant is plush and comfortable and the main restaurant and function rooms are the same. A lot of effort goes into making it a place to choose whether for a break or a wedding or function. Food is very good, well presented with a good choice. Set close the Wild Atlantic Way with attractions and drives both north and south.
The Leisure Centre is well maintained with lots of activities for users. There are two Jacuzzies, one inside and another outside. Also a massage jet section within the pool. It also has the usual steam room and the best Sauna I have ever experienced with a huge glass wall overlooking the river and wildlife. Gives a Sauna experience a new meaning.
The only issue I could find fault with was the contractors were blocking the rear entrance and Leisure Centre and were parking in disabled bays and this could be addressed by management.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view room at the reception end on 4th to 6th floors.
