We have stayed here every year since the cottages were built ( about 15 years ) and never found it anything less than excellent, gorgeous views, comfortable accommodation and nothing is too much trouble for Niamh & Joe, highly recommended. Ken & Janet Brightwell

I can’t express enough what an amazing, relaxing family holiday we had at Abhainn Ri. After a long day travelling it was just great to arrive, and boy what a beautiful setting. The views across from us were to die for. The place itself was spotless and had everything we needed. It was comfortable and the owner had made us some delicious cakes which were devoured in minutes with a fresh pot of tea. Blessington had everything we needed as far as the shops and amenities go and the speed in which we got to Punchestown festival from Abhainn Ri was just fantastic. It was totally painless. I’m booking this for many years to come. The whole family had a quality time and I can’t wait to do it all over again next year.

This was a lovely cottage in a stunning location. Very clean and with all the essentials provided, which meant we didn't have to go straight to the supermarket on arrival! The rooms were all very cosy, despite the December weather. We all enjoyed the lovely walks down to the lake and the kids loved meeting the farm animals. A car is essential as it's a bit off the beaten track.

We spent a week in a cottage during the summer. We were three adults and two children.
I would never forget those views from the cottage, the farm animals, the mountains....the rain ;D.
We came from Spain and we rented a car and we got to visit every touristic place around.
The cottage was full equiped with everything you should need.
We highly recommend it.
