The place is lovely, peaceful, picturesque! The staff is genuinely friendly, the breakfast was very good, the room was very lovely with all the amenities! It was fun watching the golfers and even better if you are a golfer. The course looked very good. A very quiet place to go to "get away from it all".

Hello SanMuy
Thank you for your lovely review and taking the time to get in touch. I love the "get away from it all" quote. We might use that. That is exactly what we go for. Hopefully you will be able to experience it again soon.

Warm Regards
Mark

Gorgeous spacious room with beautiful interior made even better by the amazing location of this hotel. We stayed in one of the deluxe suites which had a balcony overlooking the golf course-stunning! The food in the bar was really great as well as being reasonably priced! All of the staff we met were very pleasant and friendly. Staying here allowed us to enjoy the natural scenery rather than the usual loud and busy life style we are used to! Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend to anyone in search of a relaxing break!

Tulfarris is in a beautiful location, so the views are stunning!
Not so from room 204, so make sure to ask if you are booking!
The bar menu is lovely, but lunch arrived over cooked
Dinner arrived quite similar, steak was ordered medium rare and arrived with no trace of pink!
The room was nice, no table, which I always find odd in hotels that offer room service or breakfast to the room!
Overall the room was clean and nice

We had one of the most beautiful week-end in this beautiful historic house set in the woodlands and rolling hills of Wicklow. There are seven bedrooms in this beautiful house, each one tastefully decorated in keeping with the house, luxury beds, large bathrooms, TV, tea making facilities, setee / chairs to relax in.
The staff could not be more helpful, particularly Aisling. Thank you all for most enjoyable week-end celebrating my grandson Patrick's first communion.
This would be a great location for any family occassion.

I was very impressed with Tulfarris hotel and the service we received throughout our five day stay. Eight of us travelled for five days of golf with bed and breakfast included. The rooms were lovely and showers/bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was very nice, 8/9 out of 10 for that. We ate in the ELK Bar on 3 out of 4 nights which was very good value and good quality food, the only thing I would say was that there weren't any smaller options, like a light bite or something of that nature. The bar staff and hotel reception staff could not do enough for us and were very friendly. On one of the nights we ate in the Lime Tree restaurant and I have to say we were not overly impressed, the food was more expensive then the Elk Bar and was not half as nice.

The golf course was very enjoyable albeit a test for your average golfer, the higher handicappers in the group struggled although we knew that before we travelled. The most disappointing thing about the stay was actually the golf course, the bunkers had little to no sand in them, the fairway grass was too long and when the rough was cut the grass clippings was not cleared away, for a championship course we expected more.

Overall we were very happy with the hotel, staff and service, but the golf course wasn't all we had hoped for.
