If you want quality food, well presented and delicious to eat at reasonable seaside prices then this is the restaurant for you. We enjoyed visiting on two consecutive nights. Stairs to the upstairs restaurant could be improved. The fish pie and the fish and chips are recommended.

No wine list with menu.
Bottle of wine then plopped on the table without even unscrewing the lid
Nevermind tasting.the food was dry and overcooked.

Really great stuff and very good view (If you will be lucky to get a nice table on second floor).
However food itself could be a bit better. Were visiting the hook lighthouse and food there (and it wasn't even a restaurant) was much better than here.

I have eaten here twice in the last four weeks and one thing that is consistent is the great service. The staff are really friendly and helpful. On our first visit it was really noisy and they found us a table in a quieter area of the restaurant. The meatball starter has a good flavour and the garlic bread is very moreish. Both visits I had a fish main course. The first time was monk fish and it was delicious - it tasted really fresh and was cooked perfectly. The second time I had the fish and chips and this was also perfectly cooked and tasty. Main courses are good sized portions. Other people were equally happy with their choices. I was too full for dessert but one of our party ordered the chocolate brownie. This was disappointing as it was more like a dry chocolate cake instead of being a chocolatey gooey mess that you'd expect from a brownie! The ice cream that came with it was nice though.
