“Absolutely AMAZING holiday home, satisfaction guaranteed!”
Reviewed 20 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

I've stayed in Knocknagrough twice and really can't recommend this gorgeous holiday home enough! The location is perfect, just 5 minutes walking distance to the shops and pubs of Ballyvaughan, while the house itself is very spacious, with all the mod-cons and facilities you would ever need. The really special thing about this holiday home is the first-class customer service and the beautiful decor: I have honestly never stayed somewhere where the owner has put in some much effort and attention to detail. The perfect place to stay for a trip to the West of Ireland, you will NOT be disappointed!

From the outset Rita the owner was extremely friendly, professional and helpful to deal with. We had a large family booking with young children and a baby. Rita could not have been more helpful. On our arrival we found the house spacious and clean with fresh flowers which smelled beautiful. The house is in an excellent location in the village but removed from the hussel and noise which was important with young kids. There is a large garden with gates to lock so the kids were secure playing outside. We had the best week with beautiful weather and family. Thank you Rita we will return again.

We stayed in Ballyvaughan during the Easter holidays 2012.Our group comprised 4 adults and 4 children. The house was extremely spacious and had a great location within walking distance of the village. Ballvaughan itself has some lovely pubs and a beautiful tearooms which opened at the beginning of the Easter holidays. We found the staff in the tourist office to be very helpful. They gave us details of looped walks in the vicinity. The Burren, Cliffs of Moher, and ferries to the Aran Islands were all easily accessible. We also made a day trip to Galway city.I have no hesitation in recommending Knocknagrough

“Lovely, Comfortable and Convenient!”

My mother, sister and nephews stayed at Knocknagrough House in November 2012. We loved this accommodation and the convenience for walking around Ballyvaughan. There are four bedrooms, three baths, kitchen, laundry room and living room with a small fireplace. Very well kept and nice furnishings. There are two bedrooms on the second floor with bathrooms en suite/and two bedrooms on the main floor that share a bathroom. The beds very comfortable too! A very nice view of the local church is just out the front door. Thank you Rita and Fiona for your warm welcome when we arrived. We truly loved our stay at your home in Ballyvaughan, County Clare!

“Spacious, comfortable, close to village”
Reviewed 11 October 2012 for a stay in September 2012

We stayed with our toddler and my in-laws. The house is very handy to the village and has 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 of which are en suite and upstairs. The other 2 are downstairs with a bathroom in between them. The house was comfortable, and had plenty of crockery etc, though the selection of kitchen equipment was a bit hit and miss so if you're planning a lot of cooking you might want to bring some of your own equipment. We had a lovely relaxing time. There's plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around.
When any issues arose the owner quickly resolved them. The house had very good central heating.
