had a very enjoyable night in the Marine hotel Leitrim Village.
room was large and comfortable, no view.
breakfast made to order so very good, i had a 3 egg omelette, which i really enjoyed.
staff very warm and welcoming.
only a small hotel but feels bigger with large bar opening out onto the Marina plenty of outside seating.
there was music the night we stayed but as in most Irish hotels it didn't start till late, so I didn't stay up. ideal if you are with a group of friends.
the hotel is Ideally situated, in the centre of the village, which has several good bars which serve food, also a Chinese, and an electric bike hire shop. we did not eat in the hotel other than breakfast but i have hear the food is very very good.
Carrick on Shannon only a short car drive away, also Drumshanbo and many interesting places to visit. i would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: we stayed in 348 a large room no view

Dear Bren, thank you for your recent visit to the hotel and indeed for this lovely descriptive review. A fresh made breakfast is a real treat these days and the 3 egg fully loaded omelette makes a great start to the day. Plenty to see and do in lovely Leitrim.

Room 206 (?) - window looks out onto gable end of the adjacent building, obscuring light and view. Fittings showing signs of being tired. Interesting to read others views of management being more interested in refuting any guests negative comments rather than actively seeking to address genuine concerns.

Dear reviewer, This is to acknowledge your review and welcome you to TripAdvisor. We welcome all comments from our guests and include a suggestion sheet in the welcome folder and our reception even hosts a suggestion box. We do use these to improve both our customer experience and hotel facilities. It is a disappointment that you chose not to stay in the hotel and afford us an opportunity to to demonstrate our excellent customer service, friendly staff and good food. Based on customer experience, Leitrim Marina Hotel is Leitrim's No.1 rated hotel and has been awarded TripAdvisor's "Certificate of Excellence" 3 years in a row. This is a credit to both our staff and guests. It is not structurally possible for all rooms in the hotel to have marina views although the room you mention does have partial marina views. However no matter where you are in the hotel you are never far from the amazing scenic views. We do make every effort to assist our guests in enjoying their visit however it is not possible for any business to please all of the people - all of the time. We are proud to say we do so in the vast majority of cases.

I am only reviewing the restaurant, as we just stopped for lunch. We arrived a bit before the opening time, but the staff welcomed us and served us a wonderful lunch. They were very accommodating and the food was very good. Peaceful setting.

Beautiful quiet setting for the hotel and with late breakfast it adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful food, great value and staff extremely friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Colette on reception and Danielle in the restaurant/bar. Both went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect in every way. Ended up staying longer than we had originally intended and will definitely return again. Looking forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: Small hotel and does not cater for Hen or Stag parties. Ideal for couples or families.

Dear Geraldine, What a lovely review. "The perfect place to relax" really captures the essence of Leitrim Marina. We offer a fresh cooked breakfast to each guest with a wide choice of options including eggs benedict and various omelettes, a real treat these days. There is always plenty to do and see in lovely Leitrim and the surrounding area so plenty of reasons for that return visit. Thanks again.
