Owner description: An introduction to the sport of clay pigeon shooting. For beginners and the seasoned shot, the experience can be tailored to your specific requirements. An extensive safety briefing precedes and interaction with the guns. There follows a theory section and then we break clays. Do you know when Sir Isac Newton was born?, do you know the third law of motion? Well you will, and you will break clays.

We visited here in September, in a last minute decision in the morning. Andrew took the four of us out to the field about 5 minutes away, and after an in depth safety briefing (which was actually interesting in itself!) we proceeded to have an hour of shooting in turns. Andrew helped guide us on every shot, offering easy to understand advice and it was more like having individual tuition throughout the afternoon. We were all complete novices, having not shot anything, but with his coaching we all hit something! Can't recommend this highly enough - Andrew was fantastic and we'll definitely be back when we're next in Caherciveen!

Andrew was very friendly and an excellent teacher! Already the ride to the shooting range was a cool experience. Thank you for this Adventure!

Collected in the town of Cahersiveen and brought on a short hop to a picturesque shooting rang set in bog land and forest. We were given an extensive safety briefing and instructed on the mechanics of shooting before holding a gun. Andrew’s relaxed manner brought out the best in me and my 15 year old son. I have no hesitation in recommending this activity. It was the highlight of my son’s holiday.

We found a flyer for QC's Clay Pigeon Shooting while driving the Ring of Kerry. Made a quick call to Andrew and set up a session for the following day. We are relatively familiar with American Trap shooting and wanted to experience something unique while on holiday and thought that this would be just perfect. Andrew was prompt in arriving at the designated meeting spot and we drove out to his private range which was quite close by. Safety was a priority which is crucial with all shooting sports and we were provided a great selection of firearms and safety equipment. Andrew was accomodating and provided us with great tips on how American trap and shooting sports in Ireland differ. The venue is unbelievably beautiful and quiet and is set up perfectly for sunny or wet weather. We had a phenomenal visit and we feel like Andrew is our new Irish best friend, he's a true entrepreneur and a testament to Irish work ethic and creativity. We'd highly recommend the venue whether you're an accomplished shooter or just learning the sport and all the while enjoying the lush green Irish countryside - what could possibly be better!
