“Excellent cottage!”

We spent one week in this house and it was really a perfect choice to book it! The cottage is very big (4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) and it's also very comfortable to sit either in the living room or in the kitchen.

The cottage is located near the city of Killorglin so you can reach supermarkets or pubs easily by foot. You can also reach other cities on the Ring of Kerry like Killarney or Tralee easily by car so that you can say that this house is a good starting points for journeys around the Ring of Kerry.

Also worth mentioning is that our host, Bridget, helped us a lot during our holiday. She didn't only give us useful information about sights where we can go, she also organised for example a taxi from and to the airport and helped us planning a bus tour.

So I can really recommend this holiday cottage to everyone who wants to spend his holiday at the RIng of Kerry!

“Great Location, Comfortable House & Amazing Views”
Reviewed 11 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We booked this house based on previous reviews and the location - on the Ring of Kerry but close to the Dingle Peninsula. Although we had only booked 4 nights, we ended up staying 9, as I broke my ankle in a fall at Staigue Fort on day 3.
The house was comfortable and plenty big enough for the 2 of us - it would be perfect for a family or group of friends.
The kitchen was well equipped, including a full size fridge, stove top and oven. The laundry was off the kitchen and included a microwave oven, tub and washing machine, with a drying rack in the cupboard. It was great being able to control the central heating - we usually turned it on for an hour or so in the morning and sometimes in the evening as well when we returned from our touring (in first 3 days).
The house was even brilliant after I had my accident, with only a couple of steps to get to the front door and none inside, and a chair that my husband could put in the shower for me.
The views from the lounge room at the front of the house and the dining area at the back of the house were of the surrounding area with the mountains on the Ring of Kerry in the distance - just magical.
If you are going to drive the Ring of Kerry, think about leaving by 8am and driving anti-clockwise (the same as the buses). Locals told us they start going through Killorglin by 8.20. We left at 7.50am and that worked really well. We hardly saw any buses.
Lastly, we cannot say how grateful we were to Bridget for her help after my accident. She was the soul of kindness and consideration and made a difficult time much more bearable.

“Beautiful house in stunning scenery”

WOW! Hard to know where to start but surely the views and the scenery will be the best place! The rolling green fields and the view of the mountains are the reason to go to Killorglin, and this house has the best view in the town! We were delighted that we chose to stay here, it is a lovely and large house with all of the feel of your own home, with an open fire, and comfortable beds.

The location is perfect to go and explore the beautiful Ring Of Kerry, or head to Dingle (to see the local dolphin!), and to see other towns such as Killarney. You are also close enough to walk into Killorglin town and enjoy a drink and the famous Irish hospitality.

Can't recommend this place enough, and I am sure we will head back!

I spent a week with friends here and cannot rate the house enough. It is a real home from home with all amenities that you would need. Shops, pubs and friendly locals are only a stones throw away so you are spoilt for choice. Jeremiah and Bridget couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you for a fantastic week, we will definitely be booking again!

I had a wonderful time touring around the ring of Kerry. The accomodation is clean, spacious, and very homely. The owners Bridget and jerimiah cannot do enough for their guests. Beautiful, peaceful location with plenty to see and do locally.
