We made a quick decision last week to sample the new HighTide restaurant in Kinsale, where we dined on delicious pan-fried Hake and battered Haddock. The sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake made a perfect finish to a most enjoyable evening. A very welcoming atmosphere pervaded throughout.

Thanks so much for the fantastic meal. My steak was superb and the sides were great as well. My wife had Calamari as a main course, it was brilliant as well she really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is really relaxed and Fionnuala our host and owner did a great job of welcoming us and taking care of us. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work.

When we arrived we were met by the friendly owner, Fionnuala, and shown to our table and were presented with a very nice menu with a good variety of food e.g. lots of fish dishes, meat, chicken (including green curry). I choose the fish n chips with homemade tartar sauce and Patricia had the Hake with potato. The food was good, the restaurant itself had a very fresh appearance and the atmosphere was very good. Our bottle of wine was reasonably priced at €22.

Just had amazing calamari and salad in this wonderful new restaurant. Delicious! What a great addition to Kinsale's many other top class restaurants. Looking forward to dining here again soon.
