Oh my goodness, not even sure where to begin. This was the best food I have ever had!! Had Foie Gras for the first time and LOVED it...my hubby, not so much. T h e Monk Fish was devine. However, the Black Sole was exquisite!!!! If you don't have plans to travel to Kinsale, change them, this restaurant is worth it. Could not recommend them more!!!!!!

Good service, terrific wine list and a good menu.
Our party of 8 all had different dishes from rabbit stew to rack of lamb to lobster and Dover sole. All the dishes were great.
They don't rush you but are attentive.
You will like it, hands down.

We loved it! The wine list had excellent selections while not being overwhelming. We ordered a scallop appetizer that was delicious. They are prepared 3 ways (2 each) so perfect for sharing. The waiter recommended trying them in the perfect progression. We both got lobster. You could pick from a few different sizes. The lobster was cooked perfectly and paired with veggies that they serve with every entree. Neither of us usually like cabbage, but the cabbage was the most delicious tasting vegetable of them all ... Not sure how it is prepared, but it was a bit sweet and very flavorful. We also got the dessert our waiter recommended (sticky toffee pudding). Wow!

I only have good things to say about this place. The decoration is stunning, the staff is very friendly. The wine list is great, the food was amazing. We absolutely loved everything and we're not easily impressed. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Slightly off the main streets of Kinsale and so not flooded with tourists. The staff were charming and hospitable; the food was just excellent! Highly recommended
