A group of four of us stumbled upon this restaurant during our stay in Bundoran. The decor was lovely when we walked inside. We were greeted by our lovely waitress Shannon who was very friendly and was able to answer our questions regarding the menu. We ordered the Pizza Triclore and it was to die for! The food and drinks were very reasonable in price. Will definitely be returning.

We booked this restaurant for my birthday meal whilst on holiday visiting family. We had booked a table as it was a saturday night & we were greeted with a waitress that was busy and running around and didn't seem interested in us at all. We were told to sit on a sofa and read through a menu and she said she'd return to take our drinks order. About 15 mins later we called over a different waitress who took our drinks and food order and went to walk off ( we were still sat on a sofa). We asked if we could be seated at a table and she just pointed at a table in the corner so we sat there. There is a severe lack of customer service and friendliness. We ate a starter of calamari which was nice and then had pizza and spaghetti bolognese - both tasty and of good quality. For dessert we shared a Tiramisu which didn't taste of much and there was a layer of cocoa powder on top it an inch thick, which choked me with the first spoonful. The prices are a little high - 48 euros for 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert and a coke and small glass of wine. We wouldn't return or recommend this place - lack of customer service, setting is outdated and they were also playing strange europop music!

Our first visit and decided to visit La Sabbia due to excellent reviews. Initially we weren’t so sure about the place as service was particularly slow, we discovered later they had a serious staff shortage that evening.
When the food arrived it was just delicious, I had a pasta dish and my wife had baked salmon, the salmon was perfect and the pasta with beef strips and peppercorn sauce was one of the nicest pasta dishes I’ve eaten in a long time. My wife had a portion of garlic bread and it too exceeded our expectations. Be warned though, this is Ireland so portions are generous and they put three slices of fantastic breads on the table just begging to be eaten! Sadly we had no room for puddings.
Definitely well worth a visit and don’t let the external surroundings put you off, there not much parking outside but it’s an easy walk from the sea front.

Not easy to find, but good quality, good choice, friendly service, good Italian restaurant. Surely again at next visit.

When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, we ordered calamari and various pizzas. The chef is Italian so the food is excellent. We had our calamari, they are small portions but most importantly they were delicious together with the spicy sauce that came with them. Then we had our pizzas like the calamari, they were amazing. Very satisfied with everything, will definitely come back.
