“Comfortable house with stunning views”
Reviewed 5 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

This house had everything we needed: lots of space for a multi-generation family trip including two small children (ages 2 and 5), very clean, amenities such as the clothes washer/drier, full well-supplied kitchen with large dining table, basketball, firewood and peat (though sadly we didn't get to use it because we didn't get home early enough any of the days we were there) were very much appreciated. Lots of closet / drawer space and a very comfortable living room with plenty of seating for everyone. You have to drop Euros into a meter for heating which worked fine in the warmer month of May but off-season you might want to pack some warm pajamas. Owner Breda is extremely friendly and was available to help any time we called her. She doted on our kids which was sweet. Easy drive to Dingle which has plenty of parking, even easier access to a pub and a restaurant (both very good!) in Ventry plus a small general store and a very nice expanse of beach. There is a hiking path up the hill that provides great views of Dingle but if you want great views of Ventry Harbor all you have to do is look out the windows from the house.

“Excellent Bream”
Reviewed 14 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Beachmount House is spacious and comfortable with beautiful views over the Atlantic. It's a couple of minutes from Ventry Village and Beach. The village is quaint and pretty. There's a nice pub (Quinns), French restaurant (The skipper) and a shop. The beach is beautiful as is the local scenery. It takes about 5 mins to drive into Dingle. The house is located along the Sleahead Drive which is an absolute must if visiting. The owner Breda is relaxed and allows you to get on with your holiday.

“Gem in Ventry”

We have stayed at the Beachmount House many, many times. It only gets better. The location is perfect. Just a few minutes from Dingle, Dun Quin, Blasket Islands, etc. Easy access to many shops, restaurants, and pubs and a perfect base to explore and take day trips to other towns and villages. The view from the front of the house is breath taking as you gaze at the Ventry Harbor which can be seen from the kitchen, living room, and three of the five bedrooms. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. There is free WiFi for those who need to stay in touch with those not fortunate enough to be on holiday with you. The owner is very accessible, if needed, thoughtful, and a wealth of knowledge about the area. A real gem of a house. I'd rather keep this place a secret but it wouldn't be fair to those looking for an ideal place to stay.

“A piece of heaven”

Breda, the host, was very helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem and could call within a few minutes if required. There was a welcome bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. The view was heavenly from living room three of the bedrooms and the kitchen. It was never a problem to do the washing up when you could see the mountains and the beach from the kitchen window. Basket ball, football bucket and spade in garage, adaptors, washing powder and washing up liquid all provided also olive oil and herbs and other essentials in kitchen. Only a few minutes walk to the beach, a bit of a hill on way back hence the fabulous view. Less than 10 minutes drive to Dingle. Sorry to leave.

“Awesome location”
Reviewed 25 July 2016 for a stay in May 2016

House was in the perfect location. Beautiful beach was only 5 minutes away by walking. It was close to the pub, restaurant and horseback riding. Owner was awesome and helped us with all the questions we had.
