“Best location for a holiday in Castlegregory”
Reviewed 10 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We have stayed in this house a few times and it is always perfect - location, facilities in the house - beds, kitchen , living room etc) Marion very helpful and friendly, A great place for a long weekend to unwind from the city and take a break from work, relaxing over breakfast with the view of the mountains, walking on the beach., sitting at the pier watching the fishermen, reading in front of the fire in the comfortable living room.
There are some nice restaurants and pubs in Castlegregory also if you want to eat out.
Castlegregory, the Maharees and the drive to Dingle via the Conor Pass - best place to holiday in Ireland, that is why we have visited every year for the last 20 years (sometimes a few times in a year if we are lucky to be able to do so) Thanks Marion and Joe.

“Second time to stay and just as good as the first.”
Reviewed 7 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We returned to this house for a second stay. Our first stay was in summer time so a little different. The house is in a great location for discovering the Wild Atlantic Way. We split our time between Tralee and Dingle with out two kids and had a great few days. The house itself has everything you need. A fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms with comfy beds and lovely bed linen, two nice living areas with plenty of space for everyone. Our kids really enjoyed all the board games and the DVD library came in handy too. The owner is very easy to deal with and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome with welcome goodies on arrival and for our stay lovely fresh wild flowers. Castlegregory has lots to offer with nice pubs and restaurants to explore and of course the beautiful beaches.

“Lovely, comfortable home base, perfect for exploring beautiful Kerry!”
Reviewed 25 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Castlegregory for the May Bank Holiday weekend. The house is absolutely perfect as a base for a trip to the beautiful Kerry countryside.

The house is spacious and bright, with lovely homely touches. I stayed in one of the front bedrooms - the bed was so comfortable! There are two large double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. The bedrooms were well stocked with blankets, duvets and towels. The kitchen has all the regular appliances and utensils we needed to make breakfast and dinner together as a group, and the dining table is surrounded by windows overlooking the country fields. The living room has two sofas, and armchair and an open fire, and Marion has provided lots of books and board games so you can enjoy a cosy evening in.

The house itself is situated down a country road just outside the picturesque village of Castlegregory. The walk into the village is very pleasant, and we strolled down to dinner in one of the local restaurants one evening. There are some absolutely beautiful beaches (such as the Maharees) situated close by, and we also completed the walk around the Glanteenassig lakes on the Saturday. You can easily visit the lovely town of Dingle by car, and take in the breathtaking Connor Pass along the way. We were truly blown away by the natural beauty of the area.

All in all we were delighted with our lovely, comfortable and bright home for the weekend, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like a pleasant, relaxing base from which to explore Castlegregory and the surrounding areas.
