I booked a table at this restaurant for a surprise birthday dinner for my partner. When we arrived there was only one empty table for two and we were seated at this table. After we ordered dinner, and the table had been set up for our food, one of the staff told us we had to move to another table (which has since become empty). We were told one of the in house guests, always sat at the table we occupying, and the guests could/would not sit anywhere else, so rather reluctantly we changed tables. As it happened, we had finished our meal, paid and left before anyone else arrived. The staff were not overtly friendly but efficient. Sadly the evening was somewhat soured by being made feeling like second rate guests.
