Fantastic day out at oxford island. Had a long walk round the whole reserve from the marina to the discovery centre and then had lunch. Highly recommend

This is one of the treasures of North Armagh, just off Junction 10 on the M1. Day or evening, the views are spectacular and a must for any budding or established photographer! The bluebells are just out of bloom but they provide a beautiful setting!
The area teems with wildlife, paths are well signposted and after a long or short walk, there is a restaurant with a view to die for overlooking the largest fresh water lough in Ireland! One problem- watch out for large portions!!

This place is a hidden treasure on the shores of Lough Neagh. The stunning surroundings and views of the water mean there is much to take in as you stroll around the nature trails. It is a paradise for nature lovers but offers lots to everyone.

The visitor centre has all the amenities you need and the cosy cafe serves delicious and hearty food. There is always something on for families to enjoy, the big events are well publicised so look out for those. There are lots of nature themed activities that are fun yet educational for kids.

Outside there are facilities for picnics and barbecues - ideal for sunny days.

Kinnegoe Marina is a short walking distance away meaning you can easily spend a whole day here.

Always walk my dog here. Lots of local wildlife to be seen. Food in the centre is good for a snack after or a full lunch or dinner.
