We stayed one night in Weeping ash. We enjoyed a very good dinner, a good night's sleep and a slap up English breakfast. I particularly liked the dry cured bacon. The evening roast was cooked the way my mother did it, long and slow for a really tender slice of meat which melts in the mouth. This might not suit those who like their beef rare.

Lovely Easter break with one of our foster kiddies.
Stunning location tucked nicely out of the way down the lane.
Beautiful farmhouse set in stunning grounds with a view to die for.
Lovely warm atmosphere, huge rooms with all the usual goodies (tea makings, bickies, WiFi, tv, iron etc)
Very clean, plenty of towels, soaps and lotions.
Breakfast which is served at a time of your choosing was out of this world with a huge choice of local produce cooked to perfection and as much as you'd like to eat.
Gluten Free was also a breeze for these guys who were very willing to accommodate our needs, even serving up homemade GF bread.
Unable to fault it. top marks. Well done

We had 3 nights along with friends at this picturesque family farm. Clean, tidy, spacious rooms along with great farm house breakfasts. Sarah and Richard were great hosts despite Lambing and Calving being in full swing. We would recommend the Who would have thought it pub 5 minutes down the road.

Me and my partner stayed at Smeaton farm for one night and were really pleased that we chose it based on the really positive reviews from other guests.
Richard and Sarah were warm and welcoming and took us up to our room - Weeping Ash, which was spacious and light with a great en suite and lovely views over the fields.
The breakfast was great, made to order with meat from their own livestock. Ashley, Richard and Sarah’s son is a lovely lad and often helps out too.
We felt really looked after, and even had a quick look at some new born lambs in the barn.
