I cannot praise Smeaton Farm highly enough. The accomodation is excellent with some really nice touches. The food is superb. The home made sausages and dry cured bacon taste like food really should. I was lucky enough to have Roast Pork as my evening meal and I havent tasted pork that good for a long long time. Richard and Sarah were smashing. The setting is wonderful and the views stunning. I stay in a lot of B and B's , small hotels and farmhouse accomodation, and I can say that Smeaton Farm is one of the finest I have ever stayed in.

Down a winding country lane a few miles from Saltash. Very clean and tidy. Friendly, family run business on a working organic farm which is part of the Duchy of Cornwall.

My daughter had immense fun here, especially feeding the orphan lambs and chasing the farm cats.

Fantastic breakfasts, meat from their own herds, we couldn't finish our food each morning. They also provide dinner on request which was of excellent quality.

Wonderfully tranquil and we all got a great night's sleep.

Will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely and to excellent standard

This is in a beautiful setting - a attractive farmhouse with lovely big rooms. The family are very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. They offer a small but delicious menu - organic food - much of it sourced locally or from the farm.

We arrived early evening and had dinner at the farm (which we booked ahead): prefect lamb chops, outstanding roast potatoes and mountains of veg. The four of us shared a family room with a modern en suite shower / toilet. Spacious, comfortable, large beds, good decor and we slept like logs. Breakfasts were great - plenty of variety and delicious. We enjoyed chatting with the family who were very friendly and helpful. Free wifi, too. In all, a great place to explore a lovely corner of England.
